With the economy in bad shape, and people wondering if they will have their jobs the next day, many have turned to the meeting of money online. Is this a viable source of income? Can a person really make money online? I can tell you truthfully that the answer is yes. People every day make money with blogs, websites, and through affiliate marketing. I’m sure you’re wondering if it’s possible for someone that is just starting out with little experience to have success with this business. The answer is once again yes.
The key to success with making money online has a lot to do with understanding your market, and the people you are targeting. If your idea is to make money with a blog or website, then you also need to understand keyword research. You’ll also need to understand user habits, as well as learn how to rank your website to the top of Google. Obviously you could build a website, but without traffic the website is just stagnant, and will not allow for people to have the opportunity to either click on advertisements or purchase a product.
Simply doing a search for the keywords “make money online” in Google will return millions of results. So how do you know who is truthful, and who is just trying to get your money through the many online scams? I can tell you truthfully, that you should not have to pay money for it in e-book to make money online. All of the information that I have ever accumulated on the Internet to make money online, has always been free. Some of the so-called gurus, are more than happy to charge you hundreds of dollars and sometimes thousands of dollars, to take their online courses to learn how to make money online.
Why do people buy these products? Most people believe that there is some special magic, that the product possesses that will provide them with an easy way to make money. When you think of these types of scams, they are very similar to the TV infomercials where people pay just as much money to learn schemes that turn out to be empty promises.
If I could give you one piece of advice, it would be that the most important type of traffic to your website or blog is through organic traffic. This means direct traffic coming to your site through someone searching in Google. Use Google as much as possible to find free information on the Internet if you are wanting to start an online business. The old saying still applies, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. I certainly hope, that you will use common sense just as I have when I started out in the online business to learn how to be successful. Don’t be scammed, and don’t be gullible, use common sense along with a little effort and you will find what you are seeking.
Here is an incredible story. On the 20th day in November 2008 I started a brand new website at the url http://www.article-submission-express.com. The site offers a service of submitting a unique article to thousands of internet directories. The idea of the site is to sell the service to the clients. Our target client is the person who wishes to increase their rankings in the SERPs by generating a bunch of relevant, one-way links to their website. On December 7th, as I write this article, just a little over two weeks later, my site is now ranked 101 out of over 15,000,000 results for the term Article Submissions
Since I am testing many methods that the Gurus say work, the only way I have promoted this site is with a few Google Adwords that cost a few bucks a day, and then I submit articles, just like this one that you are reading describing how it works, and what the results are. I am not writing the article today to sell you on my site, I am writing today to tell you that article submission is successful in getting a site indexed quickly and increasing your rank.
Today when I searched I found that there are 15,200,000 results when you go to Google and search for article submissions. Don’t you think that being at position 101 after just 17 days is absolutely incredible? I must also mention that my website, through these techniques, was ranked in the Google search engine within 3 days of being built. I would say, I am displaying incredible results!
I have dedicated myself to the study of search engine optimization over the past several months. I want to rank high for a competitive word, because if I can learn how to do it, I will have many different avenues of income available to me. I have studied people like Aaron Wall and Brad Fallon, I also use Brad Callen’s software a lot. I started a few sites, and used different methods for each site to see which of these methods are most successful. Of all the sites I have started, this site with the article submissions and Google Ads has brought me not only the most efficient results, but the most results.
I used code based things such as TrafficBoosterPro which worked for a few days for a keyword on another site I had, but then Google penalized my site, and guess what, I have NEVER recovered. I also tried reciprocal linking, which is controversial, in that Google may not count the links. I am starting to tend to agree, the site I did that on has not ranked at all. I even developed two sites where I build links to one and didn’t to the other, but made them on the same topic (they are not duplicate websites), guess what for words they have in common, the one with no links to it is outranking the one that I have actually optimized.
There have only been two methods used to promote http://www.article-submission-express.com. When it was first launched I bought a few Google ads that convert sales so I could promote it until my organic listings are better. If you don’t know what an organic listing is, it is basically a listing on Google you don’t pay for and brings a lot of traffic. I then, used my program sold at http://www.article-submission-express.com to submit unique articles to several directories. Articles just like the one you are reading here. I put links back to my site in the resource box as you can see at the bottom of the page.
This is the most success I have ever had. I did no press releases (which I believe to work, but I haven’t tried because of cost.) I did no link building, I didn’t join a link farm, I didn’t make link bait, I didn’t trade links. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even put a page on there that you could like to me. I didn’t put this in social networking sites or anything. Why not, couldn’t I and increase my rankings? Maybe, but right now what I have done this far is working, and therefore I am going to keep doing what I am doing and monitor my results. The best part is, now I am 101 in Google, so I can monitor my results. My next article will probably be a report on what this article did for my rankings.
As always I wish you all the best of look in your search engine optimization efforts. If you are at all interested in having articles submitted, you can find submissions services like mine or my competitors, or you can do it manually. My website, as I said earlier, offers this service and there is a link in the resource box. I do want you to understand and take away from this article, that article submission and writing works, I am not trying to promote my service, but the method in which I optimize my website.
There are a number of ways that you can acquire the job you want. You can go the traditional route of finding an ad and applying for the job, or going through the temp agency where you can get your feet wet in certain fields.

And if you career choice is accounting, you might want to join the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
If you’re already a professional in your field and are looking for new opportunities, you can always join the advisory board of one of your local organizations. For instance, if you’re working in the field of communication and want to raise your stakes as a professional, you can vie for a spot on the advisory board of Girl Scouts of America where you will be able to show your community service efforts and meet important people at the same time.
Try Online Networking
A newer form of networking that has proven to be successful in acquiring employment is online social networking. Whether you’re participating in fun sites like Myspace and Facebook, or professional sites like LinkedIn, you will find that many recruiters are locating candidates through this online vehicle. It’s good to research sites that recruiters visit most, check out blogs, and learn the culture before diving in. That way, if you set up a website profile or participate on message boards, you will be able to make the best first impression possible every time.
Networking is a great way to create new opportunities in your field. So conduct your research, make your connections, and get those opportunities started. In no time at all, you’ll see that your efforts will begin to pay off.

Some of the highest quality home based businesses that you can find are internet based businesses. A web based job has many advantages when measured up to other categories of home based businesses. Having an internet based venture, you will get a few interesting features that you don’t see from different areas of work.
A good observation is that the best advantage of a properly built online business is that it can work for you all day, all year. That advantage, on it’s own, leads to making an online business a great answer when searching for a home based business opportunity. Just imagine how good it will feel having a business that creates income as you’re doing nothing.
We will show you a couple of standard operations that some ambitious person can choose from to make money online. Let’s split the list of potential choices apart into a couple of particular lists. The groups are one, working for someone, and second, having your own business.
The first group will refer to every type of job that you get a job, and get paid by, someone else. You will see that there are a lot of different types of online based, home based, jobs out there. Some examples would certainly be comprised of, accounting, answering service, and writing adds.
There isn’t much that you have to have to get one of the jobs like these. It will be presumed that, you have to be qualified, or prepared to learn, to accomplish the deeds required. You will be required to have a phone for pretty much any of these various online jobs.
The final, and fairly obvious, thing that all online workers need is a computer. If you do good work, nearly all companies feel that they benefit from having a work from home arrangement. The company gains not only from your effort, and your equipment, but also doesn’t need to give up office space.
The second group is of careers that should be for anyone who would choose to have their own business. The types of opportunities that you can try are comprised of, consulting work affiliate selling, and publishing. This list is but a little taste of the infinite opportunities that you can discover.
Choosing any of these opportunities, you will be on your own. It will be up to you to decide your own work schedule, and you need to make all the decisions in your online business. The potential for profits are there, but so are the obligations needed to succeed, in operating your own online business.
Generally speaking, it is advisable to begin your new venture as a secondary income. The effect of this will be to reduce the stress during the time you initiate this new business challenge. Then, if you are successful, you can decide if you will change to your new business full time.
Home based businesses seem to have become the way to go. Do the work, and discover all of the possibilities that might work for you. If you find your niche, you could become very rich.
Used laptops are for more abundant now than they were even a couple of years ago. Sales have surged. The main reason for this is because laptops are cheaper than ever before and loaded with features. I read just the other day that laptop computer sales have exceeded desktop computer sales.
What happens a lot of the time is people trade in their perfectly good laptop for the latest and greatest. That’s good news for anybody that needs a cheap used laptop. For the average user who checks email, surfs the net, and uses Microsoft Office a used laptop is perfect for their needs.
One method I have used in the past to obtain a used laptop is to keep a sharp lookout for the brand and model I want on Ebay. A lot of people will not buy used laptops because they afraid they will get a lemon. A way to reduce the chances of that on Ebay is to check the seller’s feedback. If a seller on Ebay has the one that meets your needs make sure their feedback is in the 98%+ range or above. Don’t be afraid to ask the seller questions either.
You can get a pretty good idea of what type a person you are dealing with by asking questions that you need to know the answer to. Just click on the Ask the Seller a Question at the upper right hand corner of the auction page. If the seller is prompt and courteous with an answer that’s a good indicator. Sellers who are rude and late with answers to your questions are best avoided. Ask the seller why they are selling the laptop and if they have had any problems with it. Make sure you are getting the operating system software and the specific drivers for it. The drivers are not a big deal because you can usually download them off of the manufacturer’s site. If you own a copy of Windows XP, it should work on newer used machines. Check specifications at the manufacturer’s website to be certain.
So, you have found a used laptop and the seller checks out on feedback and email. The next step is to decide how much money you can spend. Set a dollar limit and stick to it. Only buy if it is a bargain. The fact is that most sellers on Ebay do not offer a warranty on what they sell. There are exceptions, and if you can find a seller with a warranty on what you want so much the better.
