Almost all of us are addicted to the mobile phones these days. Mobile phones have become a part of our lives and we feel uncomfortable in any case if we forget to take them with us. Actually they have made a sub culture as I feel. With the rapid evolution of the mobile phones, we are having mobiles with sophisticated snap and video compatible cameras and internet access. In the technology perspective, they are very good. But my personal opinion is that these camera phones are affecting our personal lives in a great way. Please note that this is my personal opinion and I will explain it in this post. You are warmly welcome to discuss this.

I have seen many images and videos taken from mobile phones on the internet. Some of them are very interesting and fascinating. But most of them are filled with pornographically fabricated material. Truly speaking, most of them are porn videos of women and girls. Some of them might have known about that their videos and photos are distributed in the internet and some might not. Most of them will be embarrassed after knowing this and they will find it difficult to live in their society. The saddest thing is that most of them trust the person who captured those videos or pictures. But those capturing people sell them on the internet.

It is very hard to express all my ideas on this topic as I live in a different society and follow a different culture compared to the most western countries. These things are normal in those countries. But in many countries, these things have made many problems and many incidents happened in my country also. If these kinds of videos or pictures are published in my country, the people in those and the people who took those will be drawn to the public attention and most probably all of them are humiliated.

It is ok to keep anyone’s life as he or she wishes. But as they don’t care much, they get into trouble when these kinds of things happened. It is ok to capture your moments to video and pictures. But you must be careful about their privacy. If the privacy is gone, then you will get in to trouble. Others can use these to black mail you or make money, which will definitely ruin your whole life.

I don’t say that camera phones are always useless. They are being used for many important purposes like news reporting. What I want to impress is that you must always be careful about the privacy of your videos and images which will not affect your personal life.
